Devlog 2: Getting Rabbit Catcher ready for release in November
Rabbit Catcher » Devlog
I've been working on getting Rabbit Catcher ready for a release this November. The target price is 8 euro's. Promised features are a 100 levels and two modes, catching rabbits and catching wisps. And of course the level editor, so you can make and share your own levels.
For motivation and support I've joined the Crunchless Challenge Jam. I've only just today discovered this jam and it seemed like a perfect fit. I've made a post in the Crunchless Challenge community tab detailing my work done so far and to do list.
A summary of what I've already done this month:
- Made changes to the way levels are saved and loaded to hopefully futureproof it and ensure that all future levels made remain compatible with the game.
- Merged the game and editor. It's now one application with menu buttons to switch between the editor and the play mode.
- Added a proper Quit button.
